AI RECEPTIONIST
Stop missed calls becoming missed customers.
You can't answer the phone from a roof, from under a floor or at 7:40pm. When you can't, the call still gets picked up, the details get taken and a callback is waiting for you.
THE PROBLEM
Voicemail is where enquiries go to die.
Most people ringing about work don't leave a message. They hang up and try the next number on the list. You never know the call happened, let alone what it was worth.
And the calls come at the worst times: mid-job, mid-drive, mid-dinner. Answering everything isn't realistic, and shouldn't have to be.
WHAT CHANGES
The call gets answered
In your business's name, with a greeting you've agreed, rather than four rings and a beep.
The details are written down
Name, number, what they need, where they are — in the CRM as a lead, not a missed-call notification.
Common questions handled
Areas covered, whether you do a type of work, roughly how quotes work — only what you've configured.
Urgent calls can reach you
An active leak at 8pm is different from a quote enquiry. Rules decide what gets put through or flagged.
When it picks up
WHERE IT FITS
Phone enquiries join the same pipeline as everything else.
A captured call becomes a lead with follow-up attached, exactly like a form or a DM. That's the point — one place, not another inbox.
USEFUL IF
■Most of your enquiries still come by phone
■You're on the tools all day and can't take calls
■Nobody covers the phone when the office is out
■You've considered a receptionist but not the cost of one
This isn't a replacement for talking to customers. It's a replacement for voicemail.
Questions about call handling
Does it pretend to be a person?
No. Callers are told they're speaking to an assistant taking their details. Pretending otherwise damages trust and isn't something we'd set up.
What if it doesn't understand someone?
It takes a number and says someone will ring back, rather than guessing. You get the recording or transcript so you know what was asked.
Can it quote prices?
Only if you want fixed information given out, and we'd usually advise against pricing over the phone. Its job is to capture the enquiry, not to sell.
Do I need a new phone number?
Usually not. Calls to your existing number can be diverted under the conditions you set. We'll go through the options for your setup.
How many calls did you miss last week?
Most people are surprised when they look. It's usually the cheapest lead source they have.
